1. CUT DOWN ON RED MEAT

I know it may seem like we’re hitting you pretty hard right off the bat but relax, you don’t have to quit eating barbecue. However, you should take into consideration that as you age your body has a harder time breakdown heavy compounds such as red meat.

Opt for leaner more tender cuts and minimise your frequency to a couple of times a week at most. There are other healthy protein sources that will digest easier and benefit your system a lot more.

2. GET YOUR TESTOSTERONE LEVELS CHECKED

Having trouble concentrating? Feeling depressed with little to no energy? Can’t seem to get off the couch. Your problem may be more physiological than psychological. Low testosterone is a condition that affects most men as they age and is rarely ever diagnosed properly.

Water is so important yet so overlooked especially as we get older and drinking alcohol with meals becomes more accepted. Water should be your number one choice of beverage at all times.

6. QUIT THE BOOZE

Sorry but we’re not sorry about this one. Alcohol has exactly zero health benefits. We don’t even recommend drinking a glass of wine with your meals. You may hear that wine contains antioxidants, well so do blueberries. Go with the latter.
