FOOD, SUPPLEMENTS AND BUILDING HEALTH VS COVID-19 UNLIKE GOVERNMENTS WHO ARE LOCKING US DOWN TO GET WEAK AND DIE

While we all anxiously wait for a vaccine to protect us against the novel Coronavirus 2019, healthy eating with fruit and vegetables, and or supplements to boost your immune system should be in your mind as much as washing your hands frequently.

Before we jump to look at COVID-19 and supplements that can help to boost your bodies immune system against this virus, let’s not forget there is nothing better than the five pillars of health:

1. Eating healthily so you get your vitamins especially Vitamin C
2. Drinking plenty of water every day throughout the day
3. Regular exercise
4. Getting enough sleep every night
5. Getting 15 minutes of good exposure to the sun for your Vitamin D.

While governments have us pinned down like cattle, not getting what we need to be healthy and happy, we should still try to increase our immune response instead of sitting in the dark all day long waiting for the virus to come, and highly unlikely, kill us. Read on to find out why.

COVID-19 Vs MOST PATIENT’S IMMUNE SYSTEMS

As with most viral infections in the Coronavirus family, Covid-19 can enter the body through the nose. eye sockets, mouth through touching your face after touching something with the virus on it, and then starts to replicate itself in your throat. After a few days it can move to the respiratory tract and attempts to infect the lining of the lungs as it multiplies. The body’s immune system jumps into action to overcome the virus and most people recover before any major complications occur.

In older people or people with weakened immune systems, Covid-19 or and other Coronavirus can get inside the human respiratory tract, it can then infect and multiply in the cell linings of the airways and lungs. This kicks the body’s immune system into action. In most people, the immune system does its work, then recedes and the patient recovers.

CYTOKINE STORM SYNDROME

Inflammation is a reaction by the body’s immune system to fight pathogens as a result of a viral infection right through to cuts and bruises. COVID-19 is different from other Coronaviruses before it. COVID-19 can trigger ARDS (Acute Dysfunctional Immune Syndrome) in some people as a result of a dysfunctional response to the virus, in which the immune system goes out of control and into overdrive production of defensive immune cells and associated signalling molecules.

A cytokine storm is a result that further causes the worst possible symptoms much like pneumonia and severe difficulty in breathing. One should note that those with a lifestyle lacking the five pillars mentioned are more likely to suffer from a cytokine storm than those who do.

NATURAL SUPPLEMENT FOR COVID-19

Effective immune defence supplements for COVID-19 should strengthen but not over-stimulate the immune system while also reducing inflammation. It’s quite surprising that one of the most powerful supplements that can help with improving your health, immune system and response, comes from an apple.

Workout in your garden, in your house or apartment. Drink plenty of freshly squeezed orange juice and all those healthy foods listed above. If you can, have good sex for better sleep, especially men, they get really groggy for 15-minutes after ejaculation. And finally, try to manage your stress, which is an oxymoron. How can you manage stress, you can only stop thinking about it. Alcohol and pills for nervousness, anxiety and fear are not management.
