It is also important to take into account that our testosterone levels are at their highest point right when we wake up, so it’s like mother nature is telling us to set that alarm clock 20 minutes earlier so you and your better half can get freaky before breakfast.

As far as science goes, there are several health benefits to morning sex that can’t be ignored. For example, sex increases the levels of IgA in the body. This is an antibody that works to strengthen your immune system and fight infection.

A more obvious benefit is the cardio aspect that comes with morning sex. It can act as an awesome calorie burner which kickstarts your metabolism first thing in the morning. If you get some lovin’ before breakfast, it’s fasted cardio. This has shown to enhance our metabolisms and increased calorie burning throughout the day.
