Grilled Salmon with Salsa Recipe for a Healthy Prostate

  • 2 cups avocado, cubed
  • 1 cup heirloom cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp chilli serrano, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp shallot, sliced
  • 1 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 3/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 4 salmon fillets


  1. Make sure your grill grates are clean before cooking. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (232 degrees Celsius) for 15 minutes.
  2. Place and mix the avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, serrano and shallot in a medium-size bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk lime juice, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 pepper. Drizzle this blend over the avocado mixture and stir to make sure that everything is coated evenly.
  4. Brush olive oil on both sides of the salmon fillets. Season with 3/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
  5. Place salmon on the grill with the skin on the bottom. Cook one side for about three minutes and flip to cook the other side. Make sure that the salmon is cooked through but avoid overcooking the fillets, as well.
  6. Transfer salmon onto a plate and place the tomato-avocado salsa on top.
